The PathScan® Phospho-HER3/ErbB3 (Tyr1289) Sandwich ELISA Kit is a solid phase sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) that detects endogenous levels of HER3/ErbB3 protein phosphorylated at Tyr1289. A phospho-HER3/ErbB3 (Tyr1289) rabbit antibody has been coated onto the microwells. After incubation with lysates, HER3/ErbB3 protein phosphorylated at Tyr1289 is captured by the coated antibody. Following extensive washing, a biotinylated HER3/ErbB3 rabbit detection antibody is added to detect the captured phospho-HER3/ErbB3 (Tyr1289) protein. HRP-linked streptavidin is then used to recognize the bound detection antibody. HRP substrate, TMB, is added to develop color. The magnitude of the absorbance for this developed color is proportional to the quantity of HER3/ErbB3 protein phosphorylated at Tyr1289.
